Common questions about Hilux fitment.
Will this fit my Hilux year/model?
All kits are designed for the current-generation Hilux (8th-gen AN120/AN130, 2015–present). This covers SR, SR5, Rogue, Rugged X, and GR Sport trims in single-cab, extra-cab, and dual-cab configurations. Pre-2015 (7th-gen) Hilux models are not covered by these kits — contact us for guidance on the closest-fit option.
Where does the antenna mount?
The antenna mounts to the factory UHF bracket on the driver's side A-pillar. Most Hilux trims ship with this bracket from the factory. If your model doesn't have it (some base-spec vehicles), the kit includes a bolt-on bull-bar bracket alternative — select the "Hilux (no factory bracket)" variant at checkout.
Do I need professional installation?
Most owners with basic hand-tool experience can install in under 60 minutes. The install guide video walks you through every step. That said, if you'd prefer professional installation, we partner with auto-electricians in most capital cities and regional centres. Contact us and we'll connect you with a local installer.
What about warranty if I self-install?
Self-installation does not void the Zetifi product warranty. Our 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and performance guarantees regardless of who installs. The kit is designed for no-drill, no-modification fitment — your vehicle warranty is unaffected. We include a warranty registration card in every kit.
